Available worldwide, the Altivar Machine ATV320 frequency inverters are ideal for controlling 3-phase synchronous and asynchronous motors from 0.18 to 22 kW - in both simple and demanding applications.

They are therefore used in packaging technology, material transport, material processing, mechanical drives and lifting systems as well as in the textile industry.

The ATV320 inverters impress with their compact design, diverse connectivity options and a wide range of intelligent safety features. Two designs - compact, robust and versatile

The versatile application possibilities are supported not least by the two available designs, which offer optimum flexibility depending on the installation situation.

You can choose between the compact version and the book design. While the compact versions are used in machine frames, the book versions are the method of choice when space is limited in control cabinets.

The Altivar Machine ATV320 inverters also impress with their robust design in accordance with IEC 60721-3-3 (3C3) and their resistance to ambient temperatures of up to 60 °C. Quick and easy commissioning without programming

The installation of the ATV320 frequency inverters from Schneider Electric proves to be particularly user-friendly and efficient.

Thanks to pre-configured settings for typical applications, the inverters can be put into operation quickly via "plug and play" - without any complex programming.

The intuitive "SoMove" software supports you with clearly structured menus, a graphical user interface and a commissioning wizard that significantly simplifies configuration and parameterisation. You also have the option of preparing your configurations offline - this saves time and makes integration into existing systems easier.

Safety Limited Speed (SLS): Reliable torque cut-off
Safe Stop 1 (SS1): Safe and controlled engine shutdown

Guard Door Lock (GDL): Prevents operation when protective covers or doors are open

Extended connectivity for optimum system networking

The ATV320 frequency inverters have an RJ45 communication interface for Modbus RTU and CANopen as standard and can therefore be flexibly integrated into many automation environments without additional modules.

They also support protocols such as Ethernet/IP, EtherCat, PROFINET or PROFIBUS DP via optional communication modules.

The versatile communication capability reduces the wiring effort, simplifies integration into existing networks and enables efficient remote monitoring, parameterisation and diagnostics, which not only has a positive effect on efficiency, but also on maintenance cycles and availability.
