Operating principle of pressure switches

Pressure switches control processes and therefore they belong to the process sensors. They are often also referred to as pressure sensors. The operation of the switch is based on the conversion of the physical quantity 'pressure' into an electrical output quantity as a measure for the pressure. The fatigue-free and robust pressure switches are preferably used to measure the system pressure in a variety of applications.

Consequently there are numerous applications for pressure switches such as:
