In sandblasting booths, a dust-free, safe and efficient working environment is essential. Automatic filter units, sophisticated air flow control and a patented conveyor system ensure that these requirements are reliably met.

In addition, ATEX-certified safety monitoring systems guarantee maximum safety for users in potentially explosive areas.

Powerful S7-1200- and ET 200SP controllers from the control systems range enable precise detection and evaluation of process data. This allows Sensor systems and actuators to be controlled in a targeted manner, for example to measure temperature and pressure values precisely and thus ensure optimum operating conditions.

Temperature sensors and pressure sensors, among other things, are used for the detection of these values. The range of sensors is supplemented by flow sensors and radar sensors, which precisely detect air movements or material positions, for example. HURRICAN also uses differential pressure transmitters to monitor the filter technology.

In drive technology, variable frequency drive ensure speed-controlled control of fans and conveyor systems. Motor protection circuit breakers (MPCB) protect the drive motors used from overload, while main contactors enable safe switching. All sensitive components are housed in robust industrial enclosures.

Control and signalling devices enable direct operation and monitoring of the systems on site, while modern HMI panels ensure clear visualisation and convenient control of automation processes.

HURRICAN attaches great importance to energy efficiency in all automation processes. Thanks to energy-saving automatic modes, even the PLCs operate particularly efficiently, contributing to sustainable and economical system operation.

Control systems also regulate air flows and temperature differences efficiently and according to demand. With an efficiency of up to 72% in heat recovery, power consumption and running heating costs can also be significantly reduced.
