Managed PROFINET-Switch 8-Port Helmholz 700-857-8PS01

The PROFINET Switch 700-857-8PS01 from Helmholz combines up to eight network participants and, on account of its high IP67 protection raging and ability to be used at ambient temperatures ranging from -40 to 75 °C, it is ideal for use in harsh industrial environments. One of the most important functions is the prioritisation of PROFINET telegram traffic within your machine network. The Managed Switch 700-857-8PS01 differentiates, for example, as to whether the telegram is a web request, an FTP file transfer, a media stream, or a PROFINET telegram. This helps prioritise the important telegrams in case of a high transfer load. Telegram losses are thus prevented. PROFINET protocols, such as LLDP and DCP are supported, but so too can diagnostic alarms be simply parameterised and managed.
