The Altivar soft starter ATS480D62Y from Schneider Electric is used to start and stop asynchronous motors in normal and heavy duty applications. The soft starter's task is to monitor processes, infrastructures and industrial machines. The Altivar soft starter ATS480D62Y with the dimensions 290 x 190 x 247 mm has a supply voltage of 208 to 690 V (-15 ±10 %), a control voltage of 110 to 230 V AC (50/60 Hz; -15 ±10 %) and a nominal current of 62 A with which motors from 15 to 45 kW can be operated according to the mains voltage.
