Managed PROFINET Switch 16-Port Helmholz 700-850-16P01
With the PROFINET-Switch 700-850-16P01 from Helmholz you can connect up to 16 network participants, saving both time and money. One of the most important functions is the prioritisation of PROFINET telegram traffic within your machine network. The Managed Switch differentiates, for example, as to whether the telegram is a web request, an FTP file transfer, a media stream, or a PROFINET telegram. This helps prioritise the important telegrams in case of a high transfer load. Telegram losses are thus prevented. Using the supplied GSDML file, you can simply integrate the switch into your automation environment as usual. Furthermore, the PROFINET-Switch 700-850-16P01 offers the ability to perform a diagnosis and/or configuration via Telnet or SSH. PROFINET protocols, such as LLDP and DCP are supported, but so too can diagnostic alarms be simply parameterised and managed.
